Our Supply Chain & Procurement team sit within the Technology & Operations group but, due to the nature of the function, interacts with the majority of the teams across the business, holding a particularly strong relationship with the sales & business development teams. The Supply Chain Planner will be a key cog in our sales machine, ensuring that we can deliver, accurately and on time to all of our customers, building trust with key suppliers and customers to ensure our continued growth.

Your profile

We are looking to employ a detail-oriented and experienced production planner and vendor scheduler to create, modify, and manage third-party production schedules and inbound materials. You should have demonstrable experience working with internal and external production partners to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget. You will also need to have a sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) ideally with Cin7. Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain & Procurement, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status updates to management and facilitating the timely delivery of products to customers.

  • Evaluating sales orders to create suitable production schedules.

  • Estimating the amount of raw materials needed, collaborating with third- party manufacturers to ensure on-time production and readiness.

  • Promptly addressing and resolving suppliers and third-party manufacturing issues to minimise delays in the supply chain.

  • Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.

  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.

  • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.

  • Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
