The Role

As Senior Marketing Executive, you’ll be joining a creative, commercially-focussed marketing team and be expected to dive straight in, owning the execution of Notpla’s marketing plan across all of our key channels; both online and off. This role will particularly suit someone who’s eager to get hands-on and take our social media and content creation to the next level.

This is an exciting time to join Notpla, right on the brink of a record-breaking year for revenue and on-track for major growth in the next 18-24 months. Bolstering confidence in our financial performance, we have just secured a Series A+ fundraise for £20million, enabling us to scale our growth and environmental impact faster than ever. 

Our marketing team sits within our revenue function, working closely with the sales, business development and finance teams. The Senior Marketing Executive will play a key role in helping the team to drive sales across our core commercialised products and be part of a team delivering industry-leading marketing outputs. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively support sales-driving activity, while helping to grow our key brand awareness metrics.

Your profile

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and make a real impact? We’re looking for someone who’s full of drive, bursting with ideas, and ready to take ownership of key marketing channels. You’ve got great experience managing social media channels with hands-on experience building and optimising campaigns - ideally with some working knowledge in paid social across Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads. You know how to use creativity to unlock commercial success, equally at-ease crafting punchy social media content as you are turning sales blurbs into engaging, action-focussed writing. You’ll have experience bringing marketing campaigns to life through a wide range of channels including events, blogs, videos, newsletters and sales collateral.

You’re delivery-focused, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt priorities. You get data and understand how to use it to shape decisions and track success. With your natural curiosity, you draw inspiration from the world around you and bring fresh ideas to the table with a regular frequency. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Creating engaging social media content and executing the social media plan across Notpla’s owned platforms. You’ll use scheduling tools and manage the social media calendar while being responsible for community management and growth of our channels.

  • Contribute to email marketing efforts, including drafting content, segmenting audiences and leading our database growth goals.

  • Producing written and video content, including blog posts, thought leadership pieces, and case studies, working with our co-Founders and wider team to extract amazing ideas and expert knowledge and project it to the world.

  • Contribute to - and eventually own - Notpla’s content strategy and its implementation across channels.

  • Execute our PR strategy, contributing new ideas to bring Notpla’s story and milestones to life in the media, drafting press releases and building relationships with journalists.

  • Taking a hands-on role in supporting the organisation and promotion of events to help Sales teams in reaching new prospects.

  • Collaborating with our Sales team and distribution partners to bring supplier marketing activities to life and promote Notpla effectively to end customers.

  • Making sure that Notpla’s products and brands are accurately communicated by all partners and in all online (e.g. distributor websites) and offline (e.g. brochures and product catalogues) touchpoints.

  • Working with our team of creatives to deliver effective, well-considered and recognisable creative outputs. This will range from your involvement in briefing, input to creative ideation sessions and reviewing creative outputs.
