Founded on the belief that nature knows best, we’re an innovative, ideas and action-oriented scale-up developing and manufacturing packaging solutions from seaweed and plants that disappear naturally.We are currently looking to bring in a Financial Planning and Analyst Manager to help our management team model the overall finances of the business.

The business services team is a versatile group that plays several roles within the business, including finance, HR, and impact. As our company rapidly grows, we must expand our finance team to meet the increasing demand from internal and external stakeholders. The team you will be joining is multi-talented and takes pride in providing excellent service to the business. They act as the foundation that allows our exceptional designers, engineers, scientists, and commercial and production staff to push the boundaries of our technology forward.
Your profile
We are looking for a talented and astute financial analyst or financial planning manager to join our team. Ideally you will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and have experience building financial models and processes from scratch. You will also have a strong commercial acumen and the ability to easily discuss complex financial concepts. We would also expect you to have an accountancy qualification from CIMA, ACCA etc. As well as the above you will also be responsible for:
Own business modelling and annual planning, updating as needed and providing insights to leadership
Work with technical teams to help them understand the commercial impact of their business line
Manage pricing strategies and work with the Product Managers and Head of Finance to develop pricing models
Creating monthly financial reports, board packs and investor reporting
Work with the Supply Team to ensure sufficient stock and effectively managed spend
Work with the Impact Team to ensure update to date carbon accounting and impact models
